Four men have been taken to hospital after they were stabbed with a pair of scissors in London's Covent Garden, police have said.
The incident happened in Covent Garden on Endell Street at around 12.27pm on Wednesday, 5 August.
Police and paramedics arrived at the scene, including London’s Air Ambulance.
All four victims, aged 34, 39, 42, and 52, were found with stab wounds and taken to hospital.
A 47-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
The pair of scissors was recovered at the scene.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "While at an early stage of the investigation, this is believed to be a mental health related incident and encourage sensitive reporting in this case.
"Police remain in the area, with a scene in place on Endell Street and the surrounding areas in Covent Garden."
An update on the men’s conditions is still awaited.
