Marylebone Station was evacuated this afternoon due to a fire alert.
At around 1pm today (August 28), the station was evacuated following a fire alarm activation. No services were able to enter or leave the station.
A spokesman for British Transport Police has since confirmed that the fire alarm followed a "report of smoke smell" and the station is now open.

The incident compounded problems for those travelling north following the entire suspension of the Metropolitan Line.
The suspension is due to a major fire at a waste facility in Neasden.
Around 125 firefighters and 20 engines remain at the scene on Hannah Close after the blaze broke out at 11.34am.
The smoke has been seen from miles around and has resulted in travel chaos on roads and the London Underground network.
On the Jubilee line there is no service between Willesden Green and Wembley Park, with severe delays on the rest of the line as a result of the fire.
The Metropolitan line has also been entirely suspended.
