South Place stabbing leaves man hospitalised after late-night attack

The incident happened at around 11.20pm on August 13 in South Place, within the City of London.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the attack.

Ben Hurley, detective inspector at City of London Police, said: "We are appealing for the public’s help to identify this man as we believe it could help progress our investigation.

"We understand incidents such as this can cause concern within the community, but I would like to reassure people who live, work and visit the City that officers are conducting extensive enquiries.

"Please speak to our officers if you have concerns or any information in relation to this incident."

The victim was taken to hospital but was discharged the following day.

City of London Police are asking anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference 26485153.
